This widespread distribution resembles that of nektonic Peytoia, which occurs across Laurentia (Daley et al., 2013a; see also Pates et al., 2018), South China (Liu, 2013 our unpublished data) and Baltica (Daley and Legg, 2015) and, to some extent, that of the presumed pelagic Isoxys and Tuzoia (Vannier and Chen, 2000; Vannier et al., 2007).
